Updates from Bitmain’s First and Only Cooperative Repair Center in North America

Since becoming Bitmain’s first and only cooperative North American repair center in September, the Core Scientific Repair Center has been busy. With authentic replacement components, Core Scientific has been performing warranty repairs for Bitmain customers in North America, significantly reducing both opportunity and shipment costs typically involved with sending machines back to Asia for repair.

Russell Cann, Chief Customer Success Officer at Core Scientific, said, “Feedback from customers has been extremely positive as many are relieved to be able to get their mining machines back up and running within 2 - 4 weeks. Apart from not having to wait an additional two weeks for equipment to be shipped back to the United States, having repairs done in the region also materially reduces shipment costs and opportunity cost involved in having a machine down, ensuring that miners are able to maintain competitive hash rates.”

Importantly, as of November 11, Bitmain has extended the warranty period for all existing Antminer 19 series (Antminer S19 Pro, S19, and T19) from 6 months to 12 months for both shipped and future orders. To check on the status of your warranty, please visit https://service.bitmain.com/support/warranty. Core Scientific will continue to perform repairs for customers both under warranty and those whose Antminer warranties have expired. These repairs will be completed by Core Scientific engineers who have attained Bitmain’s Ant Training Academy certification and can promptly diagnose problems and repair equipment.

Core Scientific is excited to welcome new and existing clients who require repairs and maintenance. For more information about repairing your Bitmain equipment, please visit: https://www.corescientific.com/repair-center.
